Purchasing a Metro ticket in Prague makes you eligible to use all three modes of public transport for a stipulated period. Some of the time frames for which Metro tickets are sold include a ticket that is valid for an hour and a half from the time it is first validated. Other options include tickets that last a day as well as tickets that last a week or a month and even a year. These tickets can be purchased at metro stations, news stands and even at
hotels.
Travellers will find using the Prague Metro to be both safe and convenient. These trains successfully transport up to four hundred million people every year, operating on three lines. The Prague Metro has a good track record when it comes to on-time arrivals and efficient and clean trains.
