Shopping and best places to sho - Prague, Czech
As a result of the development of the fashion industry in the Czech Republic, there has been a vast improvement in the quality and quantity of products available in the city of Prague. There are a number of shopping malls, boutiques and hypermarkets that have been launched in the recent years, and this has made the city of Prague one of the best places to shop in Europe.
Prague boasts malls in almost every neighbourhood and supermarkets and hypermarkets that are scattered around the city. Prague also has dedicated shopping areas where tourists can go to purchase the best couture garments, accessories and craft items. These shopping areas include the Wenceslas Square, Republic Square, Mala Strana and
the Old Town Square. Each of these areas has a different kind of shopping experience that is available for shopping enthusiasts from around the world.
Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske Namesti) is the first of the two main squares in Prague’s city centre. The area is a very popular place for tourists and offers shoppers a chance to see exclusive internationally branded boutiques and shops. This shopping area then meanders through Na Prikope and ends in the Republic Square.
Shoppers who prefer to indulge in luxury shopping should visit the Parizska street, which has some of the most expensive international showrooms in the world, with designer houses and jewellery stores being located on this street. For purchases of a more local flavour, the Old Town Square has a market on one side that sells various arts, crafts and souvenirs, and smaller boutiques and crystal shops on the other side.
