Fierce rivals of Sparta Praha, Slavia Prague are one of the top professional teams in the Czech Republic and have been around since 1892. Slavia play in the Stadion Eden Stadium and have an impressive history both in the Czech Gambrinus Liga and in the major European tournaments such as the UEFA and European cup.

The top team in Czech when one considers the historical success of the teams in the country, Sparta Prague play in the Generali Arena and have a number of star names who
have played for them in the past, including Pavel Nedved and Tomas Rosicky. If you are visiting Prague during the season this is your best chance to see Champions League football in the city.

The original team went out of business in 2005 and has since been reformed to be named Bohemians 1905.
